Every blog should include a search function. If a reader and click on each page or for each category to find what they are looking for and then you can leave out of frustration. Adding a search function will be happy and make your player is easy to do.

simple instructions will show you how to add search box

I will show you few style search box you just apply whatever you want.for doing this you just need to follow few step to make a search box for your blogger.

Log-in to blogger with your username and passward go to the design tab ==> click add a gadget ==> now choose HTML java script and paste the code according to your choice than save it all.

Readers Comment on Blog Send to your e-mail

As your visitor leave a comment on your blog it automatically goes to your e-mail inbox. So that you can change and modify the posted comments on your blog.

Click on Settings.

Click on Comments.

Scroll down and go to Comment Notification Address, write your email address inside the box. Like : yourid@yahoo.com

Find your facebook url for making Facebook box for blogger/website.

Log in: Log into your Facebook account.

Click on Profile button: Click on Profile right side at the top.

Scroll down and find the Add a Badge to Your Site on the left side.

Choose where to add the badge: Choose Others.

Copy the code below and Paste the code into a txt document and it should look like.

Install the Google Chat Back Gadget?

Login with your Google Account at Google Talk Badges

Copy the HTML Code generated by Google

login to your Blogger Account and Navigate to Layout > Page Elements Page

Click the Add Gadget Link and Opt to add an HTML/JavaScript Gadget

Paste the HTML code(that we copied) into the Gadget and Save it.

Now you should see the Google Chat Back Widget on your Blog’s sidebar.

Google Talk Gadget

This Gadget is just like the Google Talk Interface within your Gmail. This will allow your blog visitors to login to Google Talk.

If you have your own webpage or blog, you can also add a button to your site so your visitors can pop out the Google Talk Gadget when they visit your page. If you want them to chat with you, just list your username next to the button and ask visitors to sign in and add you as a contact. Submit Your Site To Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask and DMOZ

Google is the king of search engines and for most of us the primary source of our traffic.The main search engines are: Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask and DMOZ. Most of the others just repacked results from these databases. you can submit your site to them for free.Unlimited ads on the Internet who claim they will submit your site to 100′s or more of search engines within few days for a low price. Most of what they do is spam free-for-all link pages on the net.

Robots.txt - Creat a Sitemap

Make sure that your robots.txt file points to your valid sitemap, this tells all robots and crawlers that you have a sitemap and that they should use it. You can do this by adding the following in the first line of your robots.txt file.

sitemap: www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml

Some search engines do not allow you to submit sitemaps but will detect sitemaps via robots.txt so it is important to complete this step if you want to maximize your exposure.

Submitting to Google

To submit your sitemap.xml to Google, first you will need to make an account at Google webmaster tools. Once you created and login to your Google webmaster account.

Click on Add a site and enter your domain name and click continue.

Add Meta tag

Go to the verification home .Click Verify using a different method.

You will see these option choose one of them (add a meta tag to your sites home page for blogger).

Upload an HTML file to your server You can choose this option if you can upload new files to your site.

Add a DNS record to your domain's configuration You can use this option if you can sign in to your domain registrar or hosting provider and add a new DNS record.

Link to your Google Analytics account You can use this option if your site already has a Google Analytics tracking code that uses the asynchronous snippet. You must be an administrator on the Analytics account.

Add a meta tag to your site's home page You can choose this option if you can edit your site's HTML.

Copy the meta tag and paste it into your site's/blogger and home page by login in your blogger account.It should go in the section, before the first section.

Click verify below.

Leave the meta tag in place even after verification succeeds.

Submitt Site Map

Dashboard. Add your sitemap.xml by going to the left hand side under Site Configuration> Sitemaps>Submit a Sitemap

Enter your sitemap.xml URL and click Submit Sitemap. Wait for a few hours for the Google to pick up your sitemap and you are done.

Submitting to Microsoft Bing

Go to Bing Webmaster Center and create a account.

Click on Add a site and fill out the form on that page then click submit.

Verify that you are the site owner by uploading a file or adding a meta tag within your HTML header. Once you done that go back to the main Bing webmaster page and click on the website you added. It should now been pick up by Bing and you are done.

the appropriate category for your site, click the suggest URL link and fill out the form.You are done. DMOZ is done by humans so there is no need for a sitemap.

Submit blogger sitemap to yahoo

submit your blogger sitemap to Yahoo.By submitting your sitemap to yahoo, they will index your web pages in yahoo search engine and provide you with detailed information related to your blog like which pages are linking to yours,popular pages in your site and you can submit and track feeds for your sites. Also,you have the choice to delete any URL of your blog if you won't want to index certain pages of your site. Submitting your site to yahoo is easy and give your web pages more exposure.

All you need is a YAHOO ACCOUNT(ID).However,you don't need an yahoo ID to know the information like how many pages are indexed,etc.But,if your blog is a new one or no pages in your blog are indexed(type your blog URL in yahoo search and see to check whether your web pages are indexed or not), then you want Yahoo id to submit your sites,feeds,etc.

Go to Yahoo Site Explorer

Click on the 'Sign in' link which is at the top of the page,see the screenshot below(If you don't have a Yahoo id, you can get one here) and sign into your account.

Type your blog URL in the box provided as shown in the below screenshot.Don't forget to replace the 'your blog URL' with the original URL of your blog and click on the 'Add My Site'

After adding your site,you need to Authenticate(Verify your ownership).

There are two ways to verify your ownership.One is to upload a file to the root directory of your site which can't be possible in blogger.Another one is to 'adding a meta tag' which is possible and the only way to verify ownership for blogger.First,copy the meta tag..

Next,sign in to your blogger account>Edit html and paste the metatag below the head tag and SAVE THE CHANGES,look at the screenshot below.

Next,you will get a message saying that 'Your site is pending authentication'

Note:Don't remove the meta tag,they will re validate your ownership by checking your ownership regularly.

Next,go back to the 'Site explorer home', and check the box next to your blog URL and click on the Manage button.

Type rss XML or atom.XML in the box provided.It helps yahoo to discover more of your site content via your rss or atom feeds and to index your blog pages quickly whenever your blog is updated.Next,click on the add feed button.

That's it.Now,you have sucessfully submitted your blog sitemap to yahoo.Check your account after a couple of days and you will see your blog indexed in yahoo search engine.

Introduction

THIS BOOK ACTUALLY BEGAN in Athens, Greece in 1993. Evangelos Petroutsos wrote a very interesting outline, and several sample chapters, for a book about "fascinating and sophisticated things" you could do with Visual Basic. I agreed with my publisher that his ideas had potential, but Evangelos was a first-time author. I had a track record, though, so the publisher said they'd invest in this "Power Toolkit" book if I agreed to co-author it. Even a small book represents a $50,000 gamble for a publishing house, and this was a very large book.

I merrily agreed because I thought the topics were compelling—fractals, encryption, processing graphics, animated transitions, multimedia, manipulating color palettes, recursion, and other topics that were largely ignored by other VB books. To our delight, the book became a runaway bestseller in 1995. Evidently many Visual Basic programmers were ready for a book about advanced, cutting-edge programming techniques.

In 2002, we decided to revisit this concept. Nearly a decade has passed, and we now have what amounts to a brand new Visual Basic language: VB.NET. We decided to follow the same path that we went down a decade ago: to explore aspects of VB.NET that have been largely ignored in other books, but are useful or interesting, or both.
